Always included unless you specifically request the wood. Brush, limbs, and the cut trunk leave with us. We rake the work area before we go.

Do you give written estimates?

Every quote is in writing, includes a scope of work, and is good for 30 days. The number on the estimate is the number on the invoice — no upcharges.

Why do you cost more than the guy who knocked on my door?

An ISA Certified Arborist, $2M of insurance, workers' comp, proper PPE, and a real cleanup crew cost real money. The cheapest quote is usually uninsured — which means your homeowner's policy is on the hook if someone gets hurt.

1. Scope of quote

Written quotes from Cedar & Oak Tree Co. are good-faith price quotes, not binding contracts. The final invoice may differ if additional work is agreed in writing on-site (for example, hidden hazards discovered during the job, additional limbs, or access challenges). We will not perform out-of-scope work without your explicit approval.

2. Photo license

By sending photos of your property to Cedar & Oak Tree Co. — whether by text, email, or upload — you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display those photos as before/after marketing on our website, social media, and printed materials. You can revoke this license at any time by emailing hello@cedarandoaktree.com; we'll remove the images from our active channels within 30 days.

3. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cedar & Oak Tree Co.'s total liability for any claim arising from work performed is capped at the dollar value of the work performed under the relevant invoice. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (for example, gross negligence or willful misconduct).

4. Insurance

5. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of OH, USA. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in that state.

6. Changes

These terms were last updated 2026-05-22. We may revise them as our operations or the law change. Material changes will be flagged at the top of this page.
