Will you haul away all the wood and brush?

Always included unless you specifically request the wood. Brush, limbs, and the cut trunk leave with us. We rake the work area before we go.

Do you give written estimates?

Every quote is in writing, includes a scope of work, and is good for 30 days. The number on the estimate is the number on the invoice — no upcharges.

Why do you cost more than the guy who knocked on my door?

An ISA Certified Arborist, $2M of insurance, workers' comp, proper PPE, and a real cleanup crew cost real money. The cheapest quote is usually uninsured — which means your homeowner's policy is on the hook if someone gets hurt.

No. Topping permanently damages trees, voids their structural integrity, and causes the dangerous regrowth most homeowners later need removed. We will refuse the job and explain why.

We use your information only to respond to your request: scoping the quote, scheduling the visit, following up after work is complete, and handling invoicing. If you opt in, we may also contact you with seasonal maintenance reminders that apply to the trees you asked us about.

4. Who we share with

We do not sell your information. We share only with the vendors required to deliver the service you requested: our website hosting provider, our email provider, and our customer management (CRM) software. See the vendor list at the end of this page. We will release information when required by law.

5. Retention

We retain customer records for 24 months after your most recent contact with us. After that window we purge personal contact details from our systems. Anonymized job records (species, work performed, location at the ZIP level) may be kept indefinitely for portfolio and operational learning.

6. Your rights

You can request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct anything inaccurate, or ask us to delete your record entirely. Email hello@cedarandoaktree.com and we will respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies & tracking

We use only essential cookies needed to keep the site working. We don't track you across the web, we don't sell visitor data to ad networks, and we don't embed third-party trackers beyond basic, privacy-respecting analytics aggregated at the page level.

8. Children

We do not market to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted information through our site, email us and we will delete it.
